I know what you mean, i actually know some people who work for Thrive. They lost a lot of money giving it away for free on Youtube, but it's getting out to a lot of people :) I think they're trying to make up for their loss.
I just let it go, they're doing what feel they need to do, and i feel the movie itself shows that their intentions are good :)
