Hey that was pretty good

Now i'm not an avid kirby fan so i cant say this level brings up the nostalgia it probably does for others, im more of a sonic guy myself ;)

however, in terms of animation and movement and all that stuff, it was quite decent and i enjoyed it :D Good job dood

This was a beauty to watch, your animation style and abilities are absolutely superb, and there was no lack of detail in the backgrounds at all, which is one of many (including my own)'s faults :P

Just one question though...

Why would the build the pyramid with a skeleton already IN There? ;)

I remember when you showed me like the first minute or w/e it was on skype not too long ago, i thought maybe that would be like half of it or something :P And then turns out that was 1/10th of the length haha.

Hah, yeah, this is definitely one of my longest episodes. Hence the long wait for me to actually complete it. It's probably going to remain the longest episode for awhile. 7 will be lucky to hit 5 minutes, I think. Glad you liked it, man, and hope you enjoyed your character's little cameo in it, heh. I've actually seen this like 3 or 4 times now heh, cuz each time i watch it and i'm like "aww..that was nice" and then I do whatever, and then later i see it and am like "hmm..what was the animation like in that one again? i forget...it was short..*rewatch*

and repeat :P

Fluidity needs work

Props man, you deff have a really cool style to your art and you had decent, albeit messy, frame by frame.

My recommendation would be work on fluidity of the motions, and clean up all of the art so that its smoother. Other than that, you're deff on your way to becoming an epic animator! :)

Also, for the entire song i was like "AGH I KNOW THE SONG!!! WHAT IS IT?!" and then when it hit the chorus i realized it was redemption ^^ Props to the piano player :)

not too shabby, not the best :/

I found that there wasn't much pull at the beginning, and for the length of it i was kinda bored. However, as an animator of lengthy movies, i do sympathize because i know it takes FOREVER to finish. Props for making it 20 minutes too, definitely a good achievement.

A lot of the time i noticed you were re-using your models just a biiiiit too much i found. You also had a few VERY lazy scenes (no offense), but to name a few: The girl fixing the toy outside, you just show the sky...same thing when the girls taking off her arm, or when the old man leans in to the girl and you didn't wanna draw the rest of the old mans body, so you just scaled his head bigger and put it in the whole frame XD

Story-wise... again I think though you were going for more of a drama-esque story, it came off rather sappy. I think this because the dad character totally becomes the lil sappy "i remember when things were gooood" character after showing that he's a menacing character. I think it would have been stronger to the story had luca escaped, maybe you show the old man dying and he's like angry or something, then go back to lucy meeting up with leg-o-less, HAH! lord of the rings reference XD

Suffice to say, after the old man died all good and forgiven, i pretty much just didn't care for the rest of it, because i felt the whole thing could've ended so much better. (at least with the old man)... because of that i didn't like the end, but overall its not terrible :)

Animation needs work but your storytelling and timing was excellent!
